A 77-year-old man died tonight during a fire in a house on Chile Street in Leganés, sources from the 112 Community of Madrid have reported.
The Summa 112 doctors sent to the scene have confirmed the death of the man at the same place of the event after having located him inside the house in cardiorespiratory arrest from which they were unable to recover him after about forty minutes of resuscitation maneuvers.
The Firefighters of the Community of Madrid have confined part of the neighbors "who have already been able to return to their homes", while Summa 112 has not had to attend to any other people affected by the fire.
Teams from the National Police, Leganés Municipal Police and local Civil Protection personnel have participated in the extinction and assistance work.
