A 65-year-old woman dies after suffering a fall on an EMT bus in Valencia

A woman of around 65 years of age has died after suffering a fall inside an EMT bus in Valencia at the height of the Aragón bridge on April 25 and being transferred to a hospital with a stroke and cardiorespiratory arrest.

Apparently, the fall of the woman, recorded last Tuesday, was related to the state of traffic and after her the driver of the bus, from line 92, notified the coordination center so that it could be attended to.

The CICU sent medical means to assist the woman, who was transferred in serious condition to the General Hospital of Valencia with a stroke and cardiorespiratory arrest, according to the Local Police, who attended her at first.

Subsequently, the woman died at the General Hospital, as confirmed by sources from the Department of Health. The digital newspaper El Español reports that the probable cause of her death was a sudden stop and that the deceased was a retired Escolapias de València teacher.

From the EMT they have indicated that they cannot report the events that occurred since they did not have data on the status of the passage due to the Data Protection Law.

The EMT Company Committee has regretted the "unfortunate event" and has conveyed its condolences to the relatives of the woman, and has indicated that the driver is very affected by the event.
