The Mossos d'Esquadra have started a search operation for the attacker of a 25-year-old young man who was brutally murdered this afternoon in the Llefià neighbourhood.
For reasons that are being investigated, the young man, of Moroccan origin, received a stab wound to the neck that caused his death in a few minutes.
The events took place at the confluence of Verge de Lorda and de la Pau streets in the Llefià neighborhood.
The mayor of the PP in Badalona, Xavier García Albiol, has reacted to the incident on social networks, where he has shown his concern "for the situation we are experiencing in Badalona in recent months."
