The National Police have arrested a 23-year-old young man in Mallorca for sexually assaulting his mother after the woman refused to give her the money that her son demanded. The attack occurred in a municipality in the interior of Mallorca, in the early hours of this Saturday. The young man showed up at the home of his mother, who was sleeping at the time, and began to demand that she give him money because he didn't have any.
The mother refused and a heated argument began between the two. The young man began to make threats against the woman until he began to touch her and finally sexually assaulted her. The National Police in Palma reports that, after the attack, the mother decided to accompany her son to Palma, where the young man stayed in a brothel.
The trip was a pretext to go to the National Police headquarters, where the woman told the agents what had happened. The woman filed a complaint regarding the seriousness of the attacks and threats against her and the agents took her to a health center, where doctors certified that she had been sexually assaulted.
The agents began the investigation to find the young man, who was detained at the bus station when he was taking a vehicle towards his town, in the Serra de Tramuntana. The man is accused of one crime of sexual assault and another of domestic abuse of a son towards a mother. The young man had issued death threats against his mother and demanded that she not tell anything about what had happened.
