The Last of Us Part II Remastered will go on sale on January 19 exclusively for PlayStation 5. Sony has announced this update to the game developed by Naughty Dog hours after its existence was leaked in several specialized media.
In addition to announcing the existence of this new version of the acclaimed post-apocalyptic adventure published in June 2020 for PlayStation 4, the Japanese company has also published its first trailer, which can be seen below.
As can be seen in the video, the PS5 update for The Last of Us Remastered Part II will include various graphical improvements, “including native 4K output in Fidelity mode, upscaling from 1440 to 4K in Performance mode and a frame rate option unlocked for TVs that support VRR.”

Reduced loading times will be another new feature of this version for PS5, which will also be compatibility with the DualSense controller to offer haptic feedback and the use of adaptive triggers.
