Heretics and Movistar Riders meet today in the final of the League of Legends Super League. This first season of the year began in mid-January and has consisted of 18 days, a playoff round and now it is time for the final. This Saturday, April 1, at 6:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time), Heretics and Movistar Riders will compete to win the trophy.

The grand final of the Super League will be played in the multipurpose room of the Zaragoza auditorium before an audience of almost 2,000 people. Tickets for the event sold out in less than 24 hours. The final can also be followed through the official channels of the Professional Video Game League (LVP) on Twitch.

A great novelty this year is the Fanzone that will be installed in the same multipurpose room and will have 15 stands of the participating teams, collaborating companies, Riot Games and the Professional Videogame League itself. The doors of the Fanzone will open at 12 noon and close at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free and free, it is not necessary to have purchased a season ticket for the final to access.

In the last edition of the Superliga, Heretics was victorious. In 2022, this competition organized by the LVP (Mediapro Group) closed with a total of 25.8 million viewers on Twitch – counting official streamings and co-streamings. The summer season finale became the most followed national esports event in history with a peak of 92,479 concurrent viewers.

League of Legends is the most popular electronic sport in the world with more than 150 million monthly players. The company responsible for the game is the Californian studio Riot Games, which has also developed another of the main esports of the moment: Valorant. The LVP Super League is the main League of Legends competition in Spain.
