DALL-3, the greatly improved version of the AI image generator, will come standard with ChatGPT

OpenAI has released another impact news this week: DALL-E 3, the new and much improved version of its artificial intelligence (AI) image generator will be natively integrated into ChatGPT. This is a new milestone in the evolution of generative artificial intelligence tools, since this solution has been designed with the aim of overcoming the main barrier that many users encounter: the misinterpretation that AI makes of user requests.

The new version of DALL-E features a number of notable innovations. One of the main improvements of the application lies in its ability to simplify the creation of instructions or prompts, something that was a real challenge for users. Integration with ChatGPT allows this chatbot to generate more precise and detailed instructions for DALL-E 3. This results in a more precise interpretation of requests and, consequently, more satisfactory resulting images for the user.

In addition to making it easier to use and creating more precise prompts, OpenAI has strengthened security measures in DALL-E 3. Generative AI now prevents the creation of images that include public figures identifiable by their names. It has also improved its ability to recognize and avoid inappropriate content, including elements of a sexual, racist or discriminatory nature.

Another highlight is the protection of artists' copyright. DALL-E 3 no longer copies the style of famous living artists, and creators can request that their works not be used to train future image generation models, thus ensuring the integrity of their works.

DALL-E 3 will be available starting in October for ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise subscribers via its API, while research labs will have access in the fall, but they have not announced when it will be available to the general public.

Although this type of technology has gained popularity on social networks and other platforms, it has also raised concerns about the replacement of human artists and the misuse of copyrighted content.
