Tannenbaum, who now serves as an NFL analyst on ESPN, was conducting the Jets when he left the transaction for Tebow in 2012. He called it unsatisfactory with how things panned outside with Tebow in the time. He seemed to use his own expertise to warning against the Jaguars from doing exactly the exact same thing.
"Decisions from the NFL are based on meritocracy... If that business relies on relationships, they don't have any opportunity to acquire... If [Tim Tebow] causes this group, it is just gont actually hurt Urban's capacity to stand up facing the group and say'Hey, the way you perform things."
It seems as if the Jaguars remain hemming and hawing over Tebow. Jacksonville maintained its rookie minicamp over the weekend to have a first glimpse of the new players, such as fifth-round select tight end Luke Farrell.
Tebow worked out using the Jaguars as a tight end, however, the group had not made a determination on whether to sign him.
