Formula 1 Saudi Arabian GP: schedule and where to see the classification live on television

The Formula 1 World Cup celebrates this weekend the second Grand Prix (GP) of the season in Saudi Arabia, an appointment that will be held on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The pilots are already rolling around the track to achieve the best qualifying time, which will be held this Saturday, March 18.

Only one race has been held, but the star of the start of the season is undoubtedly Fernando Alonso, who managed to get on the podium at the age of 41 in his first race with Aston Martin, his new team.

The Asturian rider surprised everyone with a creditable third place and is looking to extend his good feelings at the Saudi Arabian GP. For more credit, he did it with the seventh car last year. With his new AM23 he snatched third place from his compatriot Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) in the final stretch of the event, fourth two Sundays ago in Sakhir.

Alonso does not want to throw the bells on the fly either and ensures that, after the first three races, he will have "a more concrete and clear vision of the real position" of his car.

"Other years we had two places to shoot in preseason, such as Barcelona and Bahrain. This will be the first time that the 2023 cars will roll outside of Bahrain, so there are many things to discover. Friday will be more tests than races and we will see if we can learn something", explained the Asturian at the FIA press conference prior to the Saudi Arabian GP, according to soymotor.

The Dutchman Max Verstappen, who hopes to win a third World Cup in a row and who signed a new Red Bull 'double' in Bahrain, just ahead of his Mexican teammate Sergio Pérez, has also started the season on the right foot.

It will be the third time that it has been run on the circuit in Saudi Arabia. In the debut, two years ago, the English Hamilton prevailed; and 'Mad Max' won last year, ahead of the two Ferraris of Leclerc and Sainz.

The classification of the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian GP, which is held this weekend at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, will be held this Saturday, March 18, starting at 6:00 p.m. It can be seen on television on DAZN and can also be followed live through the La Vanguardia website.
