Competition leaves Fede Valverde's aggression against Baena without sanction

The Competition Committee has left Fede Valverde, a Real Madrid player, without sanction for the attack on Álex Baena in the Santiago Bernabéu car park after Real Madrid-Villarreal in the last league, according to El Español. Said committee has archived the file and has accepted the allegations presented by Real Madrid and the soccer player's lawyers, who demanded that the soccer player be left without sanction in view of the decision of the Madrid Investigating Court to archive the case for lack of evidence on July 3.

Weeks ago, the sports instructor judge proposed to the Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation a five-game sanction for Valverde, which would make him be absent at the start of the 2023-2024 season against Athletic Club Bilbao, Almería and Celta de Vigo, the three away games with which Carlo Ancelotti's team starts, plus the home duels against Getafe and Real Sociedad.

However, days later, the complaint filed by Alejandro Baena, a Villarreal player and Real Madrid footballer, was dismissed by the magistrate of Madrid Investigating Court No. 48. The reason that led to this decision is that for the judge, as stated in the file order, "the commission of the crime that has given rise to the formation of the cause is not duly justified."

As soon as this resolution of the Investigating Court Number 48 of Madrid was learned, the white club and the player's lawyers presented new allegations arguing that it did not make sense to continue with the federative process with the order of provisional dismissal of the complaint made by Baena and after having found the criminal judge some inconsistencies in the statements.

The events denounced by the midfielder of the yellow team happened in the parking lot of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, after both teams met in a match corresponding to matchday 28 of LaLiga Santander that ended with the result of 2-3.
