UFC fighter Jeff Molina has come out as bisexual after a sex video of him leaked. He is the first male fighter in this competition to publicly say his sexual orientation. Molina announced it on his social networks, although he regretted that it was not the "way" in which he wanted to communicate it and "they took away the opportunity to do it when he was ready."
“I have tried to keep my love life private from social media. I have dated girls all my life and I have bottled up the feelings I had during high school, on the wrestling team, in college, in MMA and even after making part of my dream come true and getting into the UFC," he explained.
“The idea of my friends, teammates and people I look up to looking at me differently, let alone treating me differently for something I can't control, was something I couldn't comprehend,” he added.
After this announcement, the fighter assured that he wanted to "be known for my skills and for what I have dedicated the last 11 years of my life and not as the bi ufc fighter that I am sure would translate as a gay UFC fighter," he concluded.
