The Aemet spokesperson, Rubén del Campo, assures that the episode of high temperatures "that our country has been experiencing for a few days has already resulted in four consecutive records of warm days." So far, September 29 and 30 and October 1 and 2 have been the warmest days for those dates since at least 1950.

Furthermore, an analysis of the air temperature at about 1,500 meters of altitude has revealed that the air mass that flies over the Peninsula during these days "is the warmest than any that has done so at this time since there are records."

"This is, therefore, an extraordinary warm episode, unprecedented for these dates," added the person in charge. And for which there is still no final date.
