Nine autonomous communities, at risk from rains and storms

The rains and storms will keep the yellow warnings active this Sunday in nine autonomous communities, on a day marked by locally strong showers and storms in the interior of the northern half, the mountains of the southeast of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, according to the prediction of the State Agency for Meteorology (AEMET).

Specifically, the communities of Aragon, Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Galicia, Navarra and the Valencian Community will be at risk due to storms and precipitation.

This Sunday, instability is expected to continue affecting most of the country, with cloudy intervals, and cloudiness of daytime evolution and almost generalized showers and storms in the interior of the peninsula, which may be locally strong and with hail in the interior of the middle north, the Balearic Islands and the mountains of the peninsular southeast.

On the contrary, they will be less likely and weaker in coastal areas and in the southwest of the peninsula.

Cloudy intervals are expected in the Canary Islands with the possibility of some light precipitation on the higher relief islands.

Regarding temperatures, they will experience few changes, while winds from the east component will predominate in the Mediterranean area and from the northeast on the Galician coast. On the other hand, in the rest of the country they will be weak variables.
