During his speech during the event, the president vindicated values, consensus and coexistence, "in the face of the noise generated by emerging trends in today's society such as authoritarianism, fanaticism and denialism".
In this line, he has appealed for a responsible use of communication, especially social networks, "which have contributed to a radicalization of messages, a 'boom' of populism and a distrust of institutions".
