The mayor of San Vicenç de Montalt repeats as an independent candidate in "Seguim"

The mayor of San Vicenç de Montalt (Maresme), Víctor Llasera, who already announced that he would run for mayor of the municipality, has made public the name of the independent group with which he will run in the elections next May. For the mayor and candidate "Seguim has been established to improve the quality of life of the citizens of the municipality, promoting a policy based on democracy, pluralism, equity and equality among people", all this from a prism Catalan and Europeanist, "promoting a proportional use and redistribution of public goods" as provided in a press release. Therefore, says Llasera: "the principles of the dignity of the human person, justice and social progress, are fundamental values of this new group.

The party logo is the Sant Vicenç de Montalt skyline combined with the blue colors of the sea and the green of the mountains, both characteristic elements of this town. Llasera, 66, is working to draw up her program and her electoral list, which at the moment already has the support of Lydia Gerónimo and Sònia Miquel, currently councilors in the Montalt consistory.

During the last few weeks, as reported in a press release, Víctor Llasera's team has met with different social and sports entities, to find out first-hand what the neighbours' needs and proposals are. Llasera, who has been in charge of the City Council for two years, has stated that the meetings that have been held so far "have been very positive and proactive on the part of all those who have participated."

For the mayor of Sant Vicenç, one of the main reasons that has prompted him to stand in the next elections, has been the fact that neighbors repeatedly stopped him on the street to encourage him to stand. "We have been in government for two years carrying out good management that has been recognized, and without scandals as was the case before." In this regard.

In this sense, the current mayor will try to capitalize on his pacifying spirit and expresses his willingness to continue on the path of dialogue, good tone and the presentation of proposals that are just taking shape from these meetings. As for the rest of the team, the candidate added that he is working to present a winning list that includes the greatest number of sensitivities that exist in the municipality.
