Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City and who yesterday added a new title with the victory of the citizens against Sevilla in the final of the European Super Cup, has spoken on social networks on the sixth anniversary of the 17-A attacks, Produced in Barcelona and Cambrils.
In a brief message, the former Barcelona player and coach also wondered how much longer "we have to wait to really find out what happened on 17-A".
"Spanish State-Generalitat, we want to know the truth", continues Pep Guardiola's message. "You are here for that," he points out, in addition to stating that what he feels is "shame."
"To all the victims and relatives, tell you that not a day goes by that I don't think of you," concludes the Catalan's message.
This Thursday marks the sixth anniversary of the attacks that occurred on August 17, 2017 in Barcelona and Cambrils. This morning a tribute was held on the Rambla, in Pla de l'Os -the place where the van of the terrorist who ran over dozens of passers-by from Plaza Catalunya stopped-, with total normality. The authorities, headed by the President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, the President of the Parliament, Anna Erra, and the Government delegate in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto, have staged a floral offering.
Also today, JxCat and PSOE have reached an agreement, which has allowed the socialist candidate Francina Armengol to count on the votes of Carles Puigdemont's formation and, consequently, become the new president of Congress. Among the agreements of the two formations, the creation of a commission of investigation into the attacks of 17-A has been included.
