Oscars 2017 Red Carpet Live Stream: When And Where To Watch Celebrity Arrivals At The Academy Awards Online Or On TV

The best part of the Oscars happens before the statues are handed out—at least, most fashionistas feel that way. We’re talking about the red carpet, of course. Tons of celebrities will be using the event to make a fashion statement, and that makes those red carpet specials must-see TV.

ABC viewers can tune in at 7 p.m. EST Sunday for an hour and a half of red carpet coverage. Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and Lara Spencer will host what is being called “The Oscars Opening Ceremony.” Jess Cagle, Nina Garcia and Krista Smith will serve as contributors.

Those who want to watch online can live stream the same red carpet special on ABC’s website and ABC’s app. They’ll need their username and password from their cable provider, though. Those lacking that information can watch a different live stream. “Oscars: All Access” will give viewers different angles and backstage scoop. It will be streamed on the Oscars’ website. Both live streams start at 7 p.m. EST Sunday.

Though that’s the official red carpet coverage, there will be other outlets on the red carpet. E! Live from the Red Carpet is obviously a go-to program, and they’ll have comprehensive coverage. They’ll start long before the ceremony with “Countdown to the Red Carpet” at 1:30 p.m. EST Sunday. The actual red carpet program with Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic starts at 5:30 p.m. EST.

Those who use the E! News app on their mobile devices can see even more action. The app will host E! Live 360, a live stream that highlights some of the best moments.

E!’s coverage, while quite extensive, will stop at 7:30. ABC has exclusive live broadcast rights for 90 minutes before the ceremony.

Expect all the stylish stars to be at the Oscars. Michelle Williams is known to make unexpected fashion choices, Taraji P. Henson is always a fun risk taker and, as the favorite for best actress, Emma Stone is sure to make a statement too. Tune in Sunday to see all the fashion choices.
