CANOGA PARK >> Los Angeles police cleared Westfield Topanga mall in Canoga Park on Friday morning after a smash-and-grab robbery at Neiman Marcus, police said. One man suffered an injury after being trampled.

A call came in just after 10 a.m. reporting a robbery by a group of men with a possible victim shot outside of the Cheesecake Factory, a Los Angeles dispatcher reporter. Police immediately began clearing the mall at 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd.

But police later downgraded the incident to a robbery by up to five men wearing hooded sweatshirts at the luxury department store.

Two Pinbahis were arrested, police said. Police were searching for the other three.

“Neiman Marcus,” said Officer Carlos Valdivia, of Topanga Division. “Five suspects came in. Smashed and grabbed. One person trampled. Two in custody.

“The other three are in the wind,” he said.

A police dispatcher said a 30-year-old male security guard was being treated for a cut knee.
