Institutional normality in Les Corts despite the electoral tension and the PP-Vox pact in the Consell

The parliamentary groups approved yesterday in a climate of agreement and conformity the constitution of the parliamentary commissions of the new legislature. Despite the electoral tension, the proximity of the general elections and the imminent materialization of the coalition government between PP and Vox (on Thursday the popular Carlos Mazón will be sworn in), the four parties with representation agreed on the distribution of the presidencies of the commissions that all groups will lead at least one parliamentary working body.

It should be noted that being part of the commission table (whether as president, vice-president or secretary) or being a spokesperson in them supposes a supplement for the deputies of 621.83 euros per month.

It will be the first time that Vox, which has also entered the Mesa de Les Corts through the front door (it holds the Presidency), has a presence at the commission tables. Specifically, the extreme right will preside over the working bodies of Justice, Agriculture and Public Works. It makes sense because the first two will be two of the Vox areas in the Consell, perhaps it is less understood that two deputies who sounded like councilors have been placed in their presidency: José María Llanos (who has lost options after deny gender violence before all of Spain) and José Luis Aguirre, who sounds strong for the Department of Agriculture.

It will be the PP -the party with the most votes- who will have the most presidencies, up to eight, while the PSPV is left with two -Treasury (Toni Gaspar) and European Affairs (Josefina Bueno, who fell from the Table), and Compromís, that of Industry (Mónica Álvaro). A cast that leaves everyone satisfied.

After the agreed distribution of the commissions and the constitution of the same, the PP stuck out its chest in its strategy of blurring its global agreement with Vox. The spokesman for the popular parliamentary group, Miguel Barrachina, stressed that the constitution of the different commissions of the Valencian Parliament unanimously "is a demonstration that block politics has ended." The PP emphasizes that although the pact with Vox has been reached, its presence in the Les Corts Table was agreed with Compromís and the parliamentary calendar with the PSPV was closed.

For his part, the deputy spokesman for the PSPV José Chulvi defended that his party will play a "key and fundamental" role in the commissions and will not allow "not a single setback to take place in everything we have achieved during the years of Ximo's government Puig".

Finally, the trustee of Compromís, Joan Baldoví, pointed out that "it is good that in a plural parliament all political groups have representation in the commissions".
