Feijóo denounces a "surrealist grip" by the PSOE and Vox to destroy him

If there is one thing that Alberto Núñez Feijóo does not like, it is personal disqualifications, insults and accusations against his party, and that this interferes with the road map he has designed. This is what has happened with the statements he made on Saturday in which he accused Pedro Sánchez of "paying tribute" to "apprentices of autocrats" in the middle of the Ibero-American Summit, where King Felipe VI was also present. The angry response of Moncloa and Sánchez himself overshadowed the presentation event organized by the PP in Guadalajara to present its electoral program for May 28.

The president of the PP did not enter the subject directly and it was his deputy secretary of institutional affairs and responsible for foreign affairs, Esteban González Pons, who dedicated himself to countering Sánchez's criticism of Feijóo, whom he called " ignorant".

The leader of the PP did not comment on these qualifications, but he did denounce the "manipulation" of his words and the existence of a "surrealistic grip" between the PSOE and Vox to put an end to his party and "destroy - it". "One and the other, confronted but with matching strategies", said Feijóo.

According to him, the two formations want to destroy the opposition. "It bothers them that we can talk, that we can give our opinion; they manipulate what we say, they change the meaning of our words, with the aim that there is no opposition".

Feijóo's conclusion is that if you want to change, there is only the alternative of the PP, because, in his opinion, the other options mean continuing the same. It is either "vote for the PSOE, the members of the Sanchist Government or the color palette of the different nationalisms and independences that rule Spain today", or vote for "those who say that Sanchism must be changed but who always vote in favor of the Government de Sánchez", he said in reference to Vox, without citing him.

In front of them, Feijóo presents himself, to him and the PP, as "the real and serene alternative", with a program "designed to be completed", against what Sánchez has done these years; a program, he said, that "is not a resistance manual, but a governance manual for Spain". Feijóo explained that his program is intended for the majority of Spaniards, who are tired of the "deterioration" and who want to start the "reconstruction" of an "economically stagnant" Spain where the institutions have been "weakened".
