Regarding the amnesty proposal that Yolanda Díaz will present tomorrow in Barcelona, the president has described as “interesting” some of the issues that appear in the details of the report, but has warned that Sumar's efforts are not the determining factors for the “yes” to the investiture of Pedro Sánchez, but it is the position of the PSOE that will tip the balance.
Despite this, the pro-independence politician has stressed that the amnesty agreement should cover the period of time from 2013 to the present, and would not include protection for the police officers who intervened in the 1-O referendum. According to Aragonès, this would be a difference that is not included in Díaz's plan, which does add to the State's law enforcement bodies and forces.
The president commented that last Sunday's mobilization in Barcelona against the amnesty "is not going anywhere" and has accused the leaders of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, Isabel Díaz Ayuso and Santiago Abascal, leader of Vox, of "manipulating" to citizens for electoral purposes.
