'We advise against all non-necessary travel to Bolivia due to extensive civil unrest and violent demonstrations. The risks are so serious that you should have very special reasons to visit the country'.

'If you are already staying in Bolivia, you should stay away from demonstrations and large gatherings as they may develop violent at short notice'.
