Holland håndboldkvinder be on Sunday fight for the CHAMPIONSHIP gold in Japan.

With a win at 33-32 over Russia in the semifinals are the Dutch ready for the final, where either Norway or Spain waiting for.

On the way to Friday's semi-final had the russians won all eight matches at the finals in Japan, while the Holland star Estavana Polman and co. had delivered more volatile performance.

It was therefore a surprise that the Netherlands eventually be able to pull out victorious out of the duel.

Midway in the second half it began to tip Russia's way, as it managed to get ahead by two goals. But the Dutch did not give up, and with ten minutes left brought Debbie Bont Holland in front 27-26.

Russia's Anna Vyakhireva delivered strongly in the other end and ensured that the two teams went at up to 32-32.

With 15 seconds left, it was all settled, when Laura van der Heijden arranged for the Dutch victory, with the match the final scoring.

Later on Friday to meet Norway and Spain in the second semi-final.
