the Town of Teora in the region of Campania is now trying to get a reduction to life, but they have chosen a slightly different approach than many other Italian cities, which offer the ramshackle homes for just one euro.

the Authorities in Teora will pay your rent if you move there. They want people to settle in the city and not only buy up holiday homes. It writes CNN.

Why would they give newcomers 150 euro (1121 euros) to rent per month in two years. But of course there is a snag. The offer is only addressed to people who have at least one child, and then you have to promise to settle in the city in three years.

According to the mayor of Teora, Stefano Farina, was it an earthquake in 1980, which was the population to fall dramatically. The city suffered much damage due to the earthquake and is never recovered completely. The young people looked for new places to live.

- Two babies being born in Teora each year, while 20 older door. We are down to only 1500 residents. After the earthquake so many young people for a new place to live, says Stefano Farina to CNN, and continues:

- I would like to reverse this negative trend. Children are our future, new families will be the building blocks in our shrinking community, so we encourage those with children to apply.

Grants for buying a home
the Mayor is also offering a grant of 5000 euros (37.360 crowns) to those who want to buy a house in the city.

In Teora can a lejelejlighed cost down to 200 euro per month. Thus you can get rid of 50 euro in rent per month. At the same time can you buy houses on about 100 square feet to about 30,000 euros (224.163 crowns). With the grant, so one can buy a house for 25,000 euros.

The houses which are available are all in good condition, since they are built after the earthquake in 1980. Some of them even come with furniture.
