A Sunday evening in October called Kim Adolph to the emergency after having undone a suicide attempt. The ambulance did not come, and the morning after was the 59-year-old found dead in his home.

a Few days before his death, swallowed Kim Adolph about 100 pills together with a lot of alcohol. His little brother got him admitted, and at the hospital they got to know, that if he drank so much once, he was liable to die.

Some days later, the drink Kim three bottles of whiskey with orange juice in an attempt to bring an end to it all. But he regret it and call 112.

- I need an ambulance. I have actually attempted suicide, I have drunk three bottles of whiskey. Will you pick me up? The door is open. Lægevagten says, I need an ambulance, otherwise the door I, says Kim Adolph to the system operator on duty at the 112-recording, as Kim's younger brother Leo and the media Zealand have heard.

As the officer in charge of the connects the medical visitator from AMK-control center, Emergency Medical Coordination, in Næstved on the conversation, responds to Kim Adolph by saying:

- A nurse, I should damn well not have any nurse. I can't more now. They should damn well pick me up. Goodbye.

The medical visitator at AMK-the control center has not heard the first part of the conversation with the control center. She therefore ask the officer what happened.

- He has shown to put on. He had apparently contacted lægevagten with massive alcohol consumption. He has shown drunk a few bottles in the day, saith the politiassistenten on the recording.

- I'm calling up to him, the equivalent of AMK-nurse.

the Nurse will, therefore, not to know that Kim told in the phone that he tried to commit suicide. She calls up to Kim, but he don't take it. Then are there not more done by the case.

Some days later the family access to Kim's apartment.

- We will find my big brother phone and it goes through. To my great horror we see that he has been calling emergency services, telling Leo Weisleder Adolph.

It gets the Leo to seek access to documents in the last conversation, Kim led.

I had gone and thought that he had committed suicide. It was what I had been told by the police, he says.

- But then I get access to the audio files and can hear, he called and asked to be picked up. So he has not committed suicide. He has tried it, and then he has regrets.

A flaw
Leo Weisleder Adolph do not believe that big brother has been taken seriously by the emergency services. Therefore, he has also complained of both vagtcentralens and AMK-nurse's handling of the case.

- We talked on the phone several times a day. He was best man at my wedding. We have always been together. Always.

Prior to his death had Kim Adolph several times tried to commit suicide. Through a great part of his life he struggled with mental health problems. He led namely of paranoid schizophrenia.

- So he could have difficulty dealing socially with other people. But he had it really good in many years, and he was stable, " says Leo Weisleder Adolph.

in the last two years of his life, things began to go the wrong way with Kim's mental health.

- He had lived with our mother, but moved so for themselves. He could not cope with, tells Leo Weisleder Adolph.

According to Brian Lindekilde Hansen, director of the control center in the Region of Zealand Præhospitalt Centre in Næstved, the nurse can well spar with the officer in the case, where the citizen has put on, and there are doubts about the whether there should be sent an ambulance or not.
