Stadil-business bankruptcy: the Deficit of 41 million

the Shipping company TS Chartering, which is owned by Christian Stadil, has been sent to judicial winding-up of the Erhverstyrelsen after a number of years with negative results, writes the Financial.

the Company, which is an Odense-based subsidiary of Stadils Thornico-conglomerate, was founded in 2012 and in each fiscal year since the establishment delivered negative results.

TS Charterings latest regsnskab, as from 2017, showed a deficit of 41 million crowns.

Thomas Mikkelsen, who is the adm. director of Thorco Projects, which is a business related to TS Chartering, confirms the incident of Finance.

- It is actually very undramatic. There were five ships in the company, which is now handed back to their owners. Thus, the activities and raison d'être away, which is why we have chosen to close the company, he says.

TS Chartering has not had a board of directors since the month of June, when the company stopped the operation earlier in the year.

- It is a little bit surprising for us, that it is ended with a bankruptcy, for we have otherwise tried to dissolve the company in the ordinary way. However, there have been some inconsistencies, has made, that it has been like this, and so we must work out from it, " says Thomas Mikkelsen.

He does not want to elaborate on what differences there would be talk about.
