Sigmunds father in the reality show: - I will not be known

We know the 24-year-old Sigmund Trondheim from amongst the other 'X Factor', 'the Divas of the jungle' and 'Melodi Grand Prix'.

Now he is exhibiting in another program; 'Divas at Discount' on Viafree, and this time it's with his father, Oddur, Trondheim, under the arm. Oddur is very tired of his son's diva whims and takes him with on a survival trip in the Danish nature.

While He is used to being in front of the camera, the situation is somewhat different with his faroese father, who is living in Herning. There is no doubt, however, that Oddur has got a good experience out of participating in the reality program.

- It is as new for me to be part of such a program, but it was really fun and a little bit cross sometimes. This has led to many fun experiences with him. I was considering not so much whether I should be or not, I was just ready to jump out of it. And it was a super fun experience to get together with Sigmund, tell Oddur to Ekstra Bladet.

- I have no ambition to be known or something like that. Not at all. It was only because it just sounded like a fun program, and I fit into, and additionally do I do it since like for Sigmunds fault. But if there is someone who asks if I want help in something else in the future, so I might as well be fresh. It is indeed a fun experience, he continues and adds:

- the Rest of the family think almost more than that I help, than I do. I'm thinking not really over it. Now, I teach daily on the constructing architect programme in Holstebro and goes among the 2000 students, so I'm used to being contacted by them, now if I meet them in the city or similar. It doesn't take up so much for me.

Oddur says that the Sigmunds mother and sisters do not have a need to be with on the screen. Therefore, it was obvious that it was him, which was a part of the program.

For many parents, it is probably a bit of an upheaval when their son or daughter suddenly becomes a very well known face in the public. This can Oddur also nod in recognition.

- The felt really that He has got a big network. If we go for a walk with him, so he is almost always stopped by someone to say hello or have a picture taken. So we go right away. But he has always been a little famous in Herning, so in this way it is not so new again, laughing Oddur and continues so:

- I am very proud of the Sigmund, and what he achieves and how he handles it. I think he does it damn well. But he is still just my little boy. There is no difference in the home. Of course, there is more, trying to pull him, but him as a person has not changed.

Unfortunately, encounter Sigmund, however, not only a positive response from the outside world, and it certainly can be hard to see for Oddur:

- I will, of course, really upset when Sigmund has been out for something unpleasant. It is hurting us. But I think it is cool, he stands up with it, for it is indeed a problem, you can not go in peace, just because one is a little different, sounds it from Oddur,

- Unfortunately, many homosexual things to know once in a while, but Sigmund doesn't suffer in silence, and it is really good, he makes it clear.
