Kia sent the brand new e-Niro on the market last spring, but now it's already time for the first facelift, informs the car manufacturer, the first updated e-Niro models are produced and on the way to Denmark.

The most important update of the Kia e-Niro is, in fact, that the car will be equipped with a 3-phase charger instead of the 1-phase – which means a significantly lower charging time.
It means that the car can be loaded with up to 11 kW. Previously e-Niro could only be left in one single phase, which is to say 3,7 kW, but with the new OBC (on board charger) the car can pull up to 3.7 kW on each phase – that is, combined 11 kW with a type 2 charging cable.
The electric Kia available with two different battery sizes on either 39,2 kWh or 64 kWh, where the minimum produces 136 hp and the big 204 hp. In mixed driving delivers the big battery pack on 64 kWh a range of up to 455 km on a single charge. The range of the small battery pack is 289 km.
