Media: Kristian Jensen is considering formandspost in DIF

the Liberal party's former vice-president Kristian Jensen is in serious consideration to move the Parliament out with a idrætspolitisk career, writes politiken.dk.

Kristian Jensen has, according to Politiken's information received invitations from several specialforbund to go after the president of the Danish sports confederation (DIF), and it has been the former long-standing minister to actively investigate the possibilities to change the Christiansborg palace with DIF's formandskontor in the House of Sports in Brøndby.

Kristian Jensen has been an active member in relation to the other alliance to get a bearing as to whether there will be support for that he can replace the DIF's current president, Niels Nygaard, and stop at the DIF's annual meeting in may 2021.

Kristian Jensen bl.a. contacted president Per Bertelsen from the Danish Håndboldforbund, which is one of DIF's largest specialforbund.

- Kristian Jensen has contacted me twice and said that he is a candidate, and I have said that I would like to see the list of candidates before deciding on who it is, we will support, " says Per Bertelsen to Politiken.

Jensen is even taciturn about his possible future in the DIF framework.

- It is not taken any decision, he says to Politiken.
