Lars Hjortshøj: He is fucking fun

It goes good for the mature stand-uppere. Both the Second and Jonathan Spang has within the last few months had the premiere of the successful shows that are still touring around the country. And now follows the 52-year-old Lars Hjortshøj up with his latest show 'Plan B', that definitely also belongs in the better end.

to put it briefly: Lars Hjortshøj is simply a funny man. Such a man would like to sit next to on a long dinner. How does he work in every case, and one has the feeling that there is something feigned about it.

well-Known, 20 years after the 'Casper & Mandrilaftalen': Therefore we had to stop

He takes as many other comedians, rooted in his own life. It is the right for. It will say which 52-year-old family man with two big (little)children at home. Nothing spectacular about it. But therefore, it can be amusing. And that's it. For the most part really funny. As such, it is not very deep, perspektivrigt or original - in fact, his worldview is quite old school on the border of the klichefulde.

His point of departure was, for example, the familiar notion of men's reluctance to go to the doctor. And so it continued speeding along, which many of vittighederne drove on the frozen performances on the difference between the two sexes (or how many there are now). The kind may well be tiring rather quickly.

But not in Hjortshøj. For parked to the political correctness and krænkelsesparatheden in the wardrobe (which is always a good idea when you go to comedy), so it was for the most part both sharp and witty. Hjortshøj is, quite simply, good to write jokes. And, not least, to serve them. Especially his long rant about the 'tiring types' was worth its weight in gold. Simply because he had the right. In particular, what pirat pants are concerned.

Forældreintra will also be an eternal source of amusement. Therefore, except when you use it. The same applies to NemID. And so, he knows the art. 75 energetic minutes served without the slightest idle. And without the annoying pauses, which always has been preposterous in comedy, and has destroyed many flows.

I arrived at Bremen with a thumping toothache, and I will not say that Hjortshøj exactly cured it. I leave (hopefully) to the dentist in the morning. But he got me to forget about it for a little while, because I most of the time sobbed with laughter. Much more can you may well not require. Hereby recommended as the probat cure for an impending winter depression.

the Only appeal is in fact the set design, which almost looked like a parody of a stage design. If it does not have any function in the show, so drop it. When you are so comical, as Hjortshøj is - in his own understated, jovial way - so you do not need anything other than a microphone. Everything else is just trappings.
