In custody jumped out of the window: Injured in escape attempt

on Friday morning, a remanded man to run away from the Vestre Landsret in the middle of Aalborg.

But the man did not reach far.

- We got the bell 14.16 an announcement via the emergency number 112, that an inmate had jumped out of a window and had landed on the May Square, where he had come to harm, tells vagtchef at Nordjyllands Police Jesper Sørensen for the Jutland Media.

Flugtforsøget both failed and resulted in a broken leg for the 29-year-old man, who never got further than the trade monopoly Square. He may have also turned his head.

He is now being treated at Aalborg university Hospital, where he is also being guarded by police, says Jesper Sørensen for the Jutland Media.
