- I was divorced a year ago and really needed to win this year; so I found my inner Pippi Longstocking back and thought; the here I just take, saith the winner of the Hubertusjagten Signe Kongebro.
Along with about 100 other riders, she took part Sunday in the traditional hunting in the deer park at Klampenborg - the most well known of the year hubertusjagter.

The many horses and ponies should always be on the cape and in full gallop through 32 obstacles spread across a 11-kilometer-long route.
- I'm insanely proud and happy. I have not as much experience as those who usually win, " says the winner to the horse Signe Kongebro.
Both she and the winner of the ponyfeltet, Caroline Nielsen, taking over the now hubertuskæden - a chain, which can hang on the neck, and which is made of small plates, where the individual vinderes names are engraved. The prize is awarded every year by last year's winner.
- It is very honorable to win a hunt that is so full of traditions, and which covers an event, a symbol of community and unity, says Signe Kongebro after his victory.
Hubertusjagten
- Hubertusjagten marks the year's last hunt and the end of the year remain, as the Garden was originally made for. Parforcejagt means that hunters exhausting their prey before the shot, chasing it with dogs and follow after the horse.
- Hubertusjagten has been held every year since the year 1900, with a few exceptions during the second world war.
- In the old days, followed the riders after the hounds and a fox, but today there are no hounds, and the fox is replaced by two experienced riders, who rides in the front with rævehaler on their red ridejakker.
- the Riders must be dressed in white pants, shirt and gloves and a red jacket with black collar.
