The 20-year-old J. B. refuses categorically, that he was with to kill a 76-year-old pensioner from Esbjerg together with her 45-year-old father.

The young man man has on Friday afternoon, explained in the Vestre Landsret, that he visited the 76-year-old man on Tinghøjs All in Esbjerg together with the father, because they had to enjoy themselves.

Earlier Friday, the 45-year-old father admitted in court that he beat up the pensioner to death because the older man scattered false rumors about him. It got the 45-year-old in a rage to seize an iron bar and beat the pensioner several times in the head for it began to crunch.
- At one point during the visit, started the 76-year-old to shout up. I see that my father beats him. My father beats several times, and when he needs to beat again, I shout: Stop.
- The respond my dad was not on. He gets by with that beat. I hasten to stop it. I put myself between by dragging the father in the jacket, but he doesn't stop completely with that beat.

the Killing took place in september 2018 in the living room in the 76-year-olds apartment in Esbjerg.
- the Pensioner tried to defend for themselves. It was bleeding. He moaned and he responded to that I moved him in the arm. He turned his head a little. I say to my father that I will be away from the site. I was in shock at what had happened.
-Why did you not just?
- I don't know. My dad went around inside in the living room and the bedroom, but I don't know what he was doing.
- Was there taken anything from the apartment?
- Yes, my father came out in the hallway with a cardboard box, which he gave me. I carried the box out, and I don't really know why I did it. I didn't think that things could be stolen, have J. B. explained.
J. B. also explained in court that he was not aware of how serious the 76-year-olds condition was.
- I thought that he was able to call a doctor.
The 20-year-old explained immediately after his arrest to the police that he had not been in the apartment.
In consultation with counsel Mette Grith Stage he did, however, later explanation, and chose not to tell the truth.
- I tried to protect my father, because my explanation would encumber him. Therefore I told not the truth. But when the father himself confessed to the killing, I chose to tell you that I had also been in the apartment. In retrospect it was stupid done, acknowledged, J. B.
issued navneforbud and allocated a total of six working days from the notification to process the drabssagen.
