the national Coach Åge Hareide has several candidates in play for the role as his assistant forward to and with the european finals this summer.

- I will need to work closely with him and must, therefore, assess the person, says Hareide.
He tells that he has been in contact with potential assistants, which he has previously worked with, as well as coaches, as he does not have any past together with.

Hareide at the same time stresses that it must be a coach with the licenses in order, so that the assistant may take over, if Hareide had to miss a match, as happened on two occasions last year because of pain after an operation.
- It is, after a short transitional period, when I must stop as the national coach of six-seven months. For example, it may well be one that is already in the jobs in Denmark, when the tournament is tied.
- We have no haste, since we first assembled back in march, and the most important thing in the job is to be ready for the role at the finals. I also need to talk with some of the players about it, says Hareide.
He thought well of the possibility that Jon Dahl could continue in assistentrollen next job in Malmö FF, but it had not been optimal.
- We then map on the possibility, but it is hard when you are in a klubjob. Malmö must also prepare for the European League matches, and the Swedish season starts shortly after that, we have session with the national team next time.
So it had been hard for him to keep focus, assess Hareide.
