How to describe Ronnie Atkins the doctors ' message that the frontman from Pretty Maids, now is kræftfri.

Ronnie Atkins on Friday morning shared the good news on Facebook.

The 55-year-old singer from Vejle was diagnosed with lung cancer in autumn, and Pretty Maids, cancelled a series of concerts.

He has since been in treatment for the dreaded disease.

On Facebook writes the singer, who in fact called Paul Christensen, that he a few days ago was told that the scans showed kræftsygdommen could no longer be traced in his body.

He will now receive immunotherapy to reduce the risk of the disease returning.

Ronnie Atkins founded the Pretty Maids at Horsens back in 1981.
