Crying, Elton John interrupts concert

It was a tearful Elton John, left the stage and a huge audience on Sunday.

Since the 72-year-old megastar was unable to carry out the hit single, 'Daniel', leaned up at the piano and broke seemingly out in tears, before he was escorted away from the scene. He was going to have to interrupt the rest of the concert, which took place in Auckland, New Zealand.

- I've completely lost your voice. I can't sing

- I will have to go. Sorry, said Elton John to the massive crowd of attendees people.

He was, however, far from being curved out - the audience broke out in an encouraging applause.

It was a pneumonia that did that Elton John had to throw in the towel in the ring approximately one and a half hour in the concert.

He apologize even for the episode to his fans on Instagram.

'I was diagnosed with pneumonia earlier in the day, but I was determined to give you the best show humanly possible', he writes.

'I played and sang with all my heart, until my voice could no longer sing. I'm disappointed, very frustrated and upset. I gave it all I had', he continues and thank you for all the support he got during the concert.

I want to thank everyone who attended tonight's gig in Auckland. I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia earlier today, but I was determined to give you the best show humanly possible. In played and sang my heart out, until my voice could sing no more. I'm disappointed, deeply upset and sorry. In the gift of it all I had. the Show in Auckland was part of his tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour with 300 dates over three years. It is his last tour before he retires.

He has scheduled two concerts in Auckland in the coming days - 18. 20. February.
