Came in with four-train and became a musical star

It was not written in the cards that Matilde Zeuner Nielsen had to leave the small Vildbjerg and end to one of Denmark's largest musicalscener, before she almost had been dry behind the ears.

The 25-year-old, newly qualified musicalskuespiller has scored a lead role in the Musical Mamma Mia, in which she will play the daughter Sofie opposite Annette Heick, who is the mother, Donna.

- It is a total wild start to his career – first with the role of Elisabeth in ’the Light of Skagen’ and then Mamma Mia. It is difficult to understand that it has gone so quickly, she says.

Matildes mother has always thought that her daughter should be a school teacher as her own, for in the family, there is absolutely no tradition of aiming for the star and the boards, but a sabbath-years after high school, where she taught in the primary school, convinced Davidson that the school teacher should she at least not be.

I knew I should be doing something else – just not what. I had a dream about something that certainly did not exist in Cardiff – not that there is anything wrong with the city, and not that I know what all my former school mates today working with, in addition to a single which has taken over his father's contractor – but after a stay at Snoghøj folk high School came the words: I would Musicalakademiet in Fredericia.

In the day, Matilde sometimes nive himself in the arm, for everything is gone the game strong. She came in with four-train and is now a musical star. It is not a story you hear every day.

- I feel that I have been dumped down in the middle of it all. Everything has gone so quickly. I guess you can say that I have almost fallen over the career, I suddenly got. Of course I have worked very hard to become better all the time, but sometimes I think that it is not completely gone up for me. It also applies to stay in Copenhagen. I can make me feel completely out of place, because everything goes so fast and there are so many people. In any case it is something other than my upbringing in the Cardiff. I should probably get used to it.

It is not only on the stage, that Matilde is successful. She has also got a sweet girlfriend, who also is musicalskuespiller – and also has a slide in karrrieren. He called Niklas Frandsen and currently plays in the succesmusicalen ’Fiddler on the roof’ at The new Theatre.

march 16, 1994 in Vildbjerg, about 15 km outside of Herning.

My mother called Hanne and my dad called Keld. They are divorced now, and still live both at Herning. They were both school teachers when I was growing up. Now, my father changed jobs, and working in the municipality.

I have a sister called Katherine at 27 years old, and a younger brother named Frederick, of 24 years. My siblings are also flown from redden. Katherine has studied psychology and lives in Aarhus. Frederik is journalistpraktikant on TV2 Sport. He lives in Odense, denmark. So, we are all very spread out. But my parents and the rest of us some good trips around the country, when we visit each other.

My boyfriend is called Niklas Frandsen. Him, I live on Amager in Copenhagen. He is trained musicalskuespiller from Gothenburg, Sweden.

After three years at Herning Gymnasium I took at the Snoghøj Højskole, where I had musicalundervisning.

I was graduated from The Danish Scenekunstskole Musicalakademi in Fredericia, denmark in the summer of 2019.

When I still went to school in Fredericia, denmark, I was in the musical Tarzan. In addition, I have just been with in the Light of Skagen. And so I will soon play Sofie in Mamma Mia!-the musical.

1. I don't have much time to watch movies and read for the time being, but I really have read and seen Harry Potter a hundred times. I absolutely love the universe!

2. I have played handball all my youth, but I stopped in the beginning of high school, because the others just grew me over the head. I really think that Niklas Landin is super cool! I was in love with him when I was younger.

3. I'm not very good in a kitchen even, but it is my boyfriend Niklas on the other hand. I love all the food, he makes, especially his indian right of dhal. It is a typical indian dish, which consists of lenses among other things.

4. I am very happy to work out, which I also do a lot together with my girlfriend. At the school we had very dance. And there I was wildly happy for step. It was probably the dance style, I was very best in school.
