Family and friends are heartbroken, but also millions of fans of the particular Kobe Bryant is heavily influenced by the star's sudden death. And that his only 13-year-old daughter also should lose his life just makes the tragedy even greater.
One of the people who have been closest to Kobe Bryant in recent years, is his heir in the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James.
The two got to know each other many years ago, when James made his first appearance in the NBA, while Bryant was on top. Ago developed James into a juggernaut, which meant that the two developed into the league's two biggest profiles.

They managed to win two olympic gold medals together before Bryant stopped his career - and James left Cleveland to go to Los Angeles.
And even though they never appeared together in the Lakers, they were more than just comrades.

as late as the day before Kobe bryant's death, in which LeBron James took over his third place on the list of most points in NBA history, reflected he of Bryant as his model in an interview with ESPN. He told about how Bryant young had given the boy James, a set of shoes that probably was a little too small for James, but as he refused to take of.
And now his first words after the accident to come on Instagram.
And they come from the heart from a man who is crushed with grief.
