Big drama: Match called off after spillerkollaps

A dramatic scene unfolded on Wednesday morning, Danish time in the NHL match between Anaheim Ducks and St. Louis Blues in the UNITED states.

Ishockeyspilleren Jay Bouwmeester collapsed on the Blues bench in the first period of the match, which was stopped immediately.

He was just over the ice and had no apparent problems when he was switched out.

the Players from the St. Louis Blues quickly became aware of the situation and called for help from the doctors on either team.

According to a statement from the Blues-the team's general manager, Doug Armstrong, was there a problem with the heart.

the 36-year-old Bouwmeester has played 1240 matches in the north american however. Earlier in his career he was under contract by the Florida Panthers and Calgary Flames, before he in 2013 was sent to the St. Louis Blues.
