Åge Hareide must have had a bit of think about ahead of Denmark's upcoming matches against Gibraltar and Ireland in european championship qualifying.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was so completely out of Southampton's squad, as the club lost 1-2 at home against Everton on Saturday afternoon.
It was not known in advance, that the dane was absent, so there was certainly wrinkly eyebrows among Southampton fans, over that the captain was not a part of the squad.
Foklaringen came, however, shortly before the battle from Southampton's manager, Ralph Hassenhüttel.
Pierre got the concussion when he hit another player, and it means that he is out in the day, sounded the explanation about the træningsuheldet.

It is not uplifting news for Åge Hareide and Denmark, which must have a minimum of one point in kvalifikationens last match against Ireland in Dublin to be sure to qualify for next summer's finals.

It remains to be seen whether hjernerystelsen will be important for Højbjergs participation in the two matches. Southampton-the captain was substituted in the 1-0 victory over Switzerland, while he started on the pitch in the last test against Luxenbourg.
Denmark meetings Gibraltar on Friday of next week, in Ireland waiting for the following Monday.
