Efterforskningsleder at Bornholm Police, Henrik Schou, discloses an Extra Blade, to suggest that the engine ignited the awning.

- you will Then have the burning awning ignited the the roof, and then have the fire spread from there, says efterforskningslederen.

the Police preliminary studies also show that the fuse in the elskabet, with a cord associated with markisens engine is smoked.

The massive fire also hit both Svaneke Bodega and Svaneke Købmandshandel on Svaneke Square. Also other buildings in the area affected by the water damage.

Several people had to be evacuated from the site, but no one has come to have the owner of the farm, Mette Sølling previously disclosed to Additional Magazine.

I was sitting in my living room when it happened, and then there came some people and knocked on my window and told there had been a fire in the awning of the store. They said that it probably was due to a nytårsraket, but I could not assess, as I came out. There was already fire in several places.

Then I went in with my Air BnB guests and told them that they should see to get out of there.
