the Disappointment of the seksdagesløbets cancellation in 2020 lasted short for the many cycling fans the country over. In the future the race will, in fact, be held in the Royal Arena with the start of 2021.

- With the move from Ballerup to Copenhagen, 6-dagesløbet accessible to far more people, which opens up new opportunities for both the course and the Danish championships. The sporting ambition is still to present the longest hunts and the toughest 6-dagesløb in the world, says Michael Sandstød.

Seksdagesløbet was held for the first time in 1934 and was in a number of years, held once a year in the Forum in Copenhagen. A single time the traditional race has also been held in the Brøndby Hall in 1998.

In 2002, the Ballerup Superarena as the floor-to-seksdagesløbet for the first time, and since 2005 the course has been held every year without interruption until 2019, which in this game was the last in Ballerup.
