The Catalan Traffic Service reports that this afternoon there has been a fatal road accident on the Ronda Litoral de Barcelona or B-10 at kilometer point 3.8 in Sant Adrià de Besòs (Barcelonés Nord) in the direction of Besòs. The Mossos d'Esquadra received the warning at 4:04 p.m.
For reasons that are still being investigated, a motorcycle has left the road and its driver has died.
As a result of the incident, four Mossos d'Esquadra patrols and four units of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) have been activated.
As for the road impact, part of the road in the Besòs direction has had to be cut and this has caused 11 km of retention from the Free Trade Zone to Sant Adrià de Besòs.
With this victim, there are 31 people who have died in a traffic accident this year on the interurban road network of Catalonia (provisional data)
