SCHENECTADY — Police have identified the body of a man found in a city ravine Friday and say his death does not appear to be suspicious.

Police said the man found by a tree crew off Wyllie Street Friday is Shantae J. Ubrich, 40, of Schenectady.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Wyllie Street and Strong streets Friday for a body that was seen lying in a ravine near I-890.

After an autopsy was completed Saturday, police said the circumstances surrounding Ubrich's death do not appear to be suspicious. The Schenectady Police Department's detective division and evidence technician Unit that responded to the scene are continuing to investigate the incident further.
