PROVIDENCE — A Middle Grove man was arrested for threatening a woman by displaying a shotgun, Saratoga County sheriff's investigators said.
Deputies responded to a 911 call at 12:54 p.m. Friday from a woman who said she had been threatened in the town of Providence by man she knows and who carried a shotgun.
Eric M. LaRue, 51, of Antioch Road was arrested and charged with felony unlawful imprisonment and the misdemeanors of criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. There were no injuries reported during the incident, Lt. D.P. Morley said.
LaRue was arraigned and sent to the county jail in lieu of bail to await further court proceedings.
