One man was killed and a woman was injured in a rollover on Loop 1604 before Judson Road that shut down eastbound traffic for about an hour early Friday evening.

According to initial reports, a couple in a four-door pickup appeared to be arguing and driving erratically. The driver lost control of the truck, which had been speeding, witnesses told police.

The truck rolled off Loop 1604 and landed upside down into a grassy median that dips between the highway and access road at about 4:30 p.m., according to police on scene.

AirLife was called to transport the man, but he had been pronounced dead, police said. The woman was not seriously injured, police said.
