Minimum services on commuter trains in Madrid: 75% at rush hour and 50% the rest of the day

The minimum services established by the Renfe strike on November 24 and 30 and December 1, 4 and 5 will be 75% of Cercanías trains at peak hours in the Community of Madrid, and 50% in the rest of the day.

The Renfe unions have called a strike for those days and the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA) has established the minimum mandatory services to ensure the provision of essential rail transport services during the called strikes, which will affect to both Cercanías trains and Long and Medium Distance trains.

These minimum services affect, in the case of Cercanías in the Community of Madrid, lines C1, C2, C3, C4A, C4B, C5, C7A, C8A, C8B, C9 and C10

Peak hours have been established in three different periods: from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., from 1:30/2:00 p.m. to 3:30/4:00 p.m., and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in which the minimum services will be 75%.

On other Renfe railway lines, minimum services will affect 65% of medium-distance trains, 72% in the case of Ave and Larga Distancia, while in freight trains a percentage of 25% of the regularly scheduled service is established. .
