PANORAMA CITY — A man in his early 20s suffered a non-life-threatening wound in a car-to-car shooting at a traffic light in Panorama City, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 11:22 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Nordhoff Street and Woodman Avenue, said to Sgt. Greg Bruce of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division.

The victim was stopped at a red light when a vehicle with four people inside pulled up alongside him. Someone in the suspect vehicle fired three rounds into the victim’s car, striking him in his right wrist, Bruce said.

The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to a hospital for further treatment.

The suspect vehicle was described as a black late model sedan.

Bruce said the motive of the shooting was under investigation, but there was no indication it was gang-related.
