Man wounded in drive-by shooting on Southwest Side

A 21-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon in the West Lawn neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side, police said. 

Just before 6:40 p.m., the 21-year-old man was walking in the 7200 block of South Lawndale Avenue when someone inside a gray sedan opened fire, striking him in the leg, Chicago police said. He was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital. 

No one was in custody.
