The victim was shot in the right shoulder and left arm after two suspects approached him as he was getting into his car at about 2:40 a.m. in the 200 block of E. University Parkway between Calvert Street and Guilford Avenue in the Oakenshawe neighborhood, according to the campus alert.

The two suspects knocked on the window of his car, displayed handguns and demanded him to exit, and then one shot him, the alert said.
